It matters to me that Black folks in general – Black women in particular – get what they need from this world and the people in it.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a space just for you where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a way that feels safe and supported. Whether you’re dealing with trauma, betrayal, navigating complex relationships, or struggling with stress or self-doubt, our work together will focus on helping you understand yourself better and make the changes you want for your life.
I’ll guide you in exploring patterns, building resilience, and learning new, healthier ways to cope with fear and uncertainty. We’ll find the root causes of what you’re experiencing and develop tools to help you move forward.
Sustained Resilience (Internal Self-Care) Coaching
Do you feel like all the self-care advice out there doesn’t really work for you or that in order to be good at it you have to buy things? This service is for people who are ready to move beyond the surface-level trends and dive into what it really means to take care of yourself in a sustainable, meaningful way. Together, we’ll focus on internal self-care practices that prioritize your emotional well-being, align with your values (we'll develop them if you don’t know yours!), and support lasting change.
Using a trauma-informed approach, I’ll help you explore how your beliefs and habits may be tripping you up. You’ll learn how to set boundaries, manage stress, and nurture your inner world — not just check items off your self-care to-do list.
Internal self-care isn’t about face masks or weekend getaways (although those are fantastic things to do for yourself!). It’s about developing ways to reconnect with yourself, feel more present, and approach life with a greater sense of ease and purpose.
Clinical Supervision for Social Workers
I also provide clinical supervision for social workers working towards their clinical licensure. My approach to supervision is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to help you grow both personally and professionally.
As a supervisor, I:
Offer a trauma-informed lens to help you navigate cases and ethical dilemmas.
Create a space for open discussion about challenges, mistakes, successes, and professional development.
Support you in building your clinical skills while prioritizing your self-care and your boundaries.
Whether you’re new to clinical work or looking for deeper insights into your practice, I’ll guide you in developing the competence and confidence to meet the needs of your clients and yourself.
